As part of our seminar series „New Trends in Human Genetics“ we are excited to announce a talk given by Dr. Henrike Heyne. Dr. Henrike Heyne is a senior researcher at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute (Potsdam) where she heads the genomics, epilepsy and precision medicine (GEM) research group. With a background as medical doctor and data scientist, she is working with her team on large and small genomic and health datasets, towards the goal to better understand and alleviate disease. She has published in several high-ranking journals such as Nature (Heyne et al. 2023, PMID: 36653560), Nature Genetics (Epilepsy consortium, 2023, PMID: 37653029) and Science Translational Medicine (Heyne et al. 2020, PMID: 32801145).
